Lillian has a split personality between a nice one and a bad one. She can come across as a sweet, shy, and caring person at first to strangers that she meets, however she can hold herself at a great distance from others so she can’t become too attached. She is seen acting and behaving motherly to younger people than her or who need help, even toward demonic and angelic children, seeing as how she wanted children of her own when living but can no longer do so she fills in that missing part of her life with that. However there is also a side to Lillian that she mostly tries to hide from people, which would be one of sadism and masochism (thanks to the work her boss put her through and she did)Likes;

BackstoryEarly Life (1900 – 1915)Lillian was born and raised in London, England 1st of January 1900 as a single child alongside her parents Sarah and Timothy Brown, where she also met her best, and arguably only, friend in her life when aged four; Charlie Ross. Lillian found it a struggle to really make friends or socialise with people her age as most were either scared, weirded out, and bullied her for talking with herself like someone was there, so she was often seen by her lonesome talking to herself.Most thought it was just an imaginary friend or two that Lillian would speak with when she was alone, that was mostly what her parents thought and hoped for, but most were unaware of the fact that she could communicate with spirits around her like nothing due to inheriting the skill from her grandmother.Though most of the spirits Lillian spoke to were kind and their intentions were never malicious in any way toward her, there was one odd spirit who took a great interest in Lillian when hearing her weeping one day all alone in her bedroom after coming home from being harshly bullied. While this entity planned on causing harm and suffering, when seeing Lillian's crying and vulnerable state this stopped the entity, and instead of doing what was originally meant to happen this entity in turn actually offered Lillian comfort.As the months passed between Lillian and this off entity who had taken this interest in her who was called Deimos, he would happily follow her about to watch over her and act as a guardian for her against bullies. Both Lillian's and Deimos's bond grew to the point that he made a contract deal with Lillian to act as a guardian and watcher over her indefinitely in exchange for her soul, which she accepted.Though Lillian and Charlie remained friends at the age of thirteen, their friendship was starting to get strained due to Lillian’s increasing unpopular reputation with the other children, and so Charlie wanting to retain some of her popularity and other friendships with the kids ended up slowly distancing from Lillian until their friendship eventually died. So Lillian was left alone with just Deimos as a companion and her own parents who tried their best to fulfil friend roles for her, but her parents were never fully successful in doing so.It wasn’t until one car ride home with Lillian having just turned fifteen when Lillian’s mother questioned her on who she keeps talking to in her room, and Lillian just answers honestly without thinking about everything from when she was young and would communicate with spirits, made a soul deal with Deimos, and how it was her fault that Charlie stopped associating with her due to her violent manner with the other kids. This causes both her parents attention to be taken off the road and to be put on her. It was all fuzzy memories after that as Lillian recalls that things had been fine and then the next the car flipped over and was upside down. Lillian’s parents passed but she lived, by some miracle.She spent two months under close observation at the hospital while she recovered, Deimos often spoke to her and comforted her in his own weird ways, but she refused to openly communicate with him like she once did in private. She did once and the faces that the nurses gave her was enough of a deterrence to not do so again.During the funeral of her parents Lillian’s grandmother, Maria, proposed to Lillian about her coming to live with her in Louisiana to get away from things here and get a fresh start. After much debate, with herself alone and Deimos who couldn’t help but agree quickly to the idea presented, had Lillian approaching her grandmother in the middle of the night and stating her desire to move away and get away from it all.Teen Years (1916 – 1920)Life for Lillian in Louisiana was strange, that is the only way she can describe it. It wasn’t the best but it also wasn’t the worst. She never made any friends when coming to Louisiana as her social etiquette had took quite the hit. She only ever spoke with her grandmother and with Deimos.During Lillian’s sixteenth birthday, her grandmother had bought her a Great Pyrenees puppy to help cheer her up, which it did. Lillian named her new puppy Henri. Deimos had taken an interest in the dog, and for once he actually played and acted nice when interacting with the puppy. Which Lillian was happy for.For three whole years she spent most of it alone tending to the flowers in her grandmother’s garden, learning how to speak and read some of the native languages here in Louisiana with some of those languages being French, German, some Spanish, and just the tiniest bit of Haitian to better have an understanding of the culture around her, and spending free time with Deimos while traversing the marsh areas around where she now lived, listening to stories that Deimos would tell her of his victories.On her fourth year of living in Louisiana when reaching 20 years of age Lillian decided it was time she started providing like what her grandmother did for them, though her job searching was met with much disappointment with rejections coming without much hesitance toward her.That was until a women by the name of Ulyssia had been in a clothing store shopping when hearing Lillian being rejected again, which she had taken quite personal now and stormed out after making quite the scene.Deimos had really been messing with her recently with her job hunting, laughing and mocking her lack of skills, which just got on Lillian’s nerves.As Lillian had been in the process of storming her way down the street quite unladylike Ulyssia had managed to catch up with Lillian rather quickly and made a job proposition to her then about becoming a maid and would be paid generously for her work, one she gladly accepted without thought.Deimos had a scrutinising glare about him as he viewed this Ulyssia women Lillian noted before a snicker left him and looked at her with the most smug face on him that she had ever seen, making her wonder just what he knew and wasn’t telling her.It was also here that she would come to learn to regret that decision about accepting Ulyssia’s job offer proposal later.

Adult (1921 – 1938)Lillian worked mostly as a maid for the Donat family, keeping to herself and sometimes accompanying Ulyssia out to help do shopping for clothing, cooking, and helping out with getting her ready. Luis was another story however as she found herself walking on thin ice when around the man, especially when she had seen him commit one or two of his murders when hiding behind a wall when Deimos had sparked her interest about what her boss got up to behind closed doors and her being nosy that day was the price of it.It didn’t take Luis long to figure out Lillian had seen something she shouldn’t have, as he had discovered her sudden strange aloofness when around him to vacate the vicinity to be somewhere other than near him almost endearing in a way. One day while Lillian had been dusting the manor of her employers Luis had approached her randomly and began chatting about how work was treating her, if she needed anything, and then questioned her on her loyalty to the family. Lillian was completely unsure how she was suppose to react here or how she should even reply, her work was fine, she didn’t particularly need anything to help with her job, and she answered the last question with some hesitance in her tone but reassured Luis that she would always be indebted and loyal to her employers.Lillian watched at Luis just raised an eyebrow, lit a cigarette, and began walking down the hallway, made a gesture with his hand for her to follow him, and then disappeared down a flight of stairs that headed to the basement. She did after much hesitance, and when entering the basement that Luis had went down she was met with a scene she hoped was just her imagination; her boss Luis stood by a chair bound and gagged civilian male, two bodyguard henchmen stood on either side of the entrance Lillian had came down and grabbed her by the wrists so she couldn’t leave.Luis already knew that Lillian knew about his murderous lifestyle and so he was going to rope her into the family by having her choose to participate to show her loyalty to him by dealing with this civilian who had been speaking out against his criminal organisation and was threatening to take it to the police for an investigation. When the civilian wasn’t budging in favour of remaining silent about things in relation to the criminal organisation Luis instead placed an arm around Lillian, brought her close and told her to show her loyalty by dealing with the male and show “people what happens when they cross the Donat family.”She refused at first, which had Luis laugh and then backhand her across the face as he gripped her chin staring daggers at her, as he told her that if she didn’t do as told then two bodies were going in bags and being buried tonight. At first Lillian didn’t budge, but when Luis threatened her grandmother and dog that woke Lillian up. Realising she had no other choice due to the threat placed against her last two remaining family members alive, she raised the firearm, said she was so sorry and then fired.Shaking all over Lillian retched and immediately threw up as she collapsed to the ground, tears streaming down her face, and all Luis did was praise her and ruffle her hair telling her “good job kid.” Deimos that night had listened to what Lillian relayed back to him what she did, as he cuddled Henri and snickered making a smug joke about how red on her suits her when seeing some blood on her.For three years Lillian mainly worked solely as a maid for Luis, however, she was also forced to watch and sometimes participate in her bosses mob activity in order to corrupt her mind. It wasn't until Lillian reached the age of twenty-four when she officially began to work as both a maid for Ulyssia and now a self made exterminator and enforcer for Luis and his plan. She quickly had become the most skilled of his henchmen in no time, thanks in large part to Deimos helping her and coaching her on how best to kill someone, how fast, and by what methods when asked for mentoring and help.It was all beginning to warp and mess with Lillian’s brain.She developed a pleasure for watching people in pain when she tortured (be it from snapping bones, cutting fingers off, using blunt force, bashing their faces against a table, and jamming knives through them at certain pressure places) them for Luis’s amazement.One day when she had been having an off day and heading back home to deliver some groceries for her grandmother she had found herself being jumped and cornered by four men, which resulted in her being captured by a rival gang criminal organisation.During her capturing she had been tortured herself, the most vivid part of the torture to her would have been when having a knife jammed through her left hand multiple times in quick concession with each other.The wound left was a gaping hole where blood leaked profusely from and pooled on the floor by her feet. This encounter was also what awakened another weird sensation in her which was masochism, as it brought sensations she thought she had been numbed to because of the work she did.Luis did eventually get her back, after letting her suffer for a month due to being allowed to get caught. This wasn’t true at all, as it was Luis himself that allowed for her whereabouts to be known that day at what time to capture her, and to get caught as he wanted to completely break her mind and will into an unfeeling and killing machine as she had indeed become his favourite killer and enforcer.Though Lillian was by far different than how she had been when younger, she still retained her nice personality as she always wore that side of herself when speaking with someone new or helping children out at the local orphanage due to hardships by the Great Depression.Children had always been something Lillian wanted, but with the work she was involved in she didn’t think that was an option for herself now. Besides how was she ever going to forge a relationship with someone on lies, and her bringing a kid into her messed up life would have just been selfish of her.She was content with working at the orphanage and helping anyway she could, at least she was doing something right with that. It wasn’t until one day when the Donat household had been getting raided by police and detectives that she had been caught, alongside Luis, his henchmen, and his wife.Although Lillian was expected to defend and deny what crimes the Donat family had been up to when asked by the detectives, she became conflicted and debated whether to go against the family when offered a lighter sentence. She tried to have a debate about ratting out the crime family, which Deimos just gave her an earful of anger over as he said that was way too risky of her to do for her safety and also because she wouldn’t be honouring her side of the loyalty she promised Luis and would then be a coward.Lillian was a coward and so that was why she opted to speak against the family and made herself out to be a victim of Luis’s mistreatment and manipulation into doing his bidding or else she was being offed herself. When the hearing was done Luis and his criminal associates were placed under arrest, Ulyssia was allowed to go as she didn’t really do any of the crimes other than being married with Luis but was placed under close watch by the law, and as for Lillian at the age of thirty-three was convicted to a mental asylum to get checked out, receive treatment, and hopefully get back to her old self to be reintegrated into society again.She bid her grandmother and darling pet dog a fair well when she was admitted, Deimos just offering her snarling remarks about cowardice from this decision and she would regret choosing this path. Lillian spent a total of five years in the mental asylum receiving treatment that just made her worse and more twisted, as she received electro-therapy, isolation when acting out against other patients and staff, and placed on so many pills that just made her drowsy and the voices in her head worse.Deimos had been quiet for most of this, watching Lillian transform from someone who could compose herself no problem to someone who now struggled between keeping her split personality of nice and bad separate; she now acted aloof, exceedingly overly happy, and carefree. Deimos knew it was forced, but he wondered what she was up to by acting this way.After spending 5 years inside of the asylum the staff saw this change in her clearly and allowed for her to be released but not before telling Lillian that her grandmother and dog had passed while she was locked away, which ultimate angered her but she just waited until she got home to let that show. She destroyed most things in her house and cried, soon coming to the realisation that she couldn’t handle living anymore.Her family was gone, she had no friends, and she didn’t have the oppression of the gang over her anymore to watch her every move. She still had Deimos but that felt more problematic than helpful now.After spending near enough a year living her life in lonely isolation with Deimos, working as a local florist, after finding out that lilies were poisonous when consumed from a local newspaper one day after it was reported that pets were found to have passed away due to consuming them. She wasted no time in purchasing some lilies that day from her local flower shop, and when home thought of how she would do it.Deimos just watched, smirking mischievously from the corner with his hands behind his back. When deciding that she didn’t want to suffer, Lillian opted for making the lilies into a tea. When night came, she had been debating all day whether to go through with it, and when her questions were met with silence from Deimos, she lifted the cup of lily tea to her mouth and drank it all quickly in one go.Gagging slightly at the floral and sweet taste, Lillian set the cup down and waited for a few minutes. In those few minutes she felt regret and immediately tried making herself sick by sticking fingers as far as she could down her throat as she hovered over the kitchen sink.By this point Deimos had just began barking out laughs as he moved closer to her and smirked as he said the next thing that filled her with dread “I’ll see you in Hell my dear when you fully pass, I so look forward to the chaos we can do then together. Until next time, my dear.” Deimos had vanished then from her side, for the very first time in her existence she was truly and completely alone.And in that moment her stomach began cramping up, her vision began to cloud over with a myriad of colours swirling around at the edges of her sight, her legs began to shake and wobble, her breathing sped up considerable as she gripped her kitchen counter. Then everything went black. And then next; white blinding light filled her vision, which she used her hands to shield her eyes.After the light relaxed, she moved her hands away and was met with the sight of an angelic male figure with white fluffy wings, a cheery atmosphere surrounded him, but his expression was anything but; for it was more one of pity, sadness, and anger. Behind the angelic male stood the figures of her family and friends, but what really got to Lillian was what the angelic male being said to her in a cold tone; “Lillian Brown for crimes against God’s will and humankind you have been sentenced to a lifetime in Hell.”She wasn’t given time to argue as she felt the floor beneath her give and she fell.Post Death (1938 – Present)Upon waking up in Hell she first found out what she looked like; grey skin, crimson red hair, antenna-like-appendages that sprouted from her head that had illuminated tips, her eyes were a deep purple with the iris being a pink and two neon blue pupils that were illuminated, sharp canine fangs on the top and bottom teeth, pointy ears, vines that wrapped around her right arm before stopping at her hand and legs, her left hand had a teal fingerless glove sleeve covering the hold in her hand, her clothing consisted of a dress that resembled the design of a lily, her shoes were made from interwoven vines as well, and she had a small red cross necklace that glowed a bright red.But what really shocked her most were the eagle looking wing appendages that adorned her back, which she was surprised she had since being forbade from going to Heaven, but she suspects those were probably there as a reminder punishment for what she’ll never have and has lost because of her choices.It wasn’t long before her and Deimos got reacquainted with each other again; as he chose to keep a hidden appearance from everyone when around with her by taking on the appearance of a bug demon creature, with fluffy wigs, sharp fangs, a typical spade demon tail, and rather large eyes that were yellow, red irises, purple and pink pupils that glowed, with four spindly brown legs. He insisted that she treat him like a pet when around people so they didn’t know who he was, which she agreed to do.She found out who Deimos really was when choosing to go to the local archives in the library of the area she lived at down here in Hell, and the information she found out told her that Deimos was a rather aggressive and destructive shadow demon; he would take great pleasure in killing, torturing, manipulating, and doing dealings with demons and people. She spent most of her first few decades down in Hell making a name for herself by brutalising anyone that got in her way and took jobs on to help other demons be rid of other pest demons.It wasn’t until the late 50s when Lillian was face to face with Luis again when he came to Hell. Luis at first thought he could manipulate her into doing his bidding again, but she just simply laughed and wasted no time in inflicting the kind of torture on him which he forced her to do to others. And she loved every single minute of it. She and Deimos opened up a cleaning crew business that made job deals with demons in cleaning up their business; whether that be by killing, actual cleaning, and acting as a bodyguard service.She only ever asked Deimos to fully reveal himself when dealing with hard enemies and victims, but normally just having Deimos’s presence was enough to provoke fear in them. When she wasn’t working Lillian spent her time by reading, taking strolls through Hell to observe what is happening, taking care of her plants, and sometimes being summoned on Earth by humans who wanted the services she offered. She was more than happy to offer those services to humans.She soon began making deals with corrupt exorcists to do their dirty work for them with banishing and killing demons, with payment being in holy water. She never specified why she wanted that holy water, but when she was alone she sometimes experimented on it to see if she could turn it against holy beings and sometimes just using it in her torture methods for demons.Nowadays Lillian finds her life monotonous, seeking a sense of life and spark for entertainment until the inevitable hammer comes crashing down on her for once and all.
